Cranbrook Pink Lakes

Cranbrook's Pink Lake, situated approximately 15 km north of the town along the Great Southern Highway, is a captivating natural wonder. This salt lake, part of a chain north of the Stirling Ranges, is renowned for its distinctive pink hue, a result of the Dunaliella salina algae thriving in its saline waters. The lake is located on private land, and while there is no designated stopping area, it can be admired from the roadside as you travel east towards Katanning, just before Pootenup Road.
