Coonabarabran Visitors Centre

The Coonabarabran Visitor Information Centre, situated on the Newell Highway, serves as a welcoming hub for travelers exploring the Warrumbungle Region. It offers a range of facilities, including accessible amenities, a gift shop featuring local products, and a picnic area with free barbecues. Inside, visitors can explore the Australian Museum Diprotodon Exhibition, showcasing the skeleton and skull of the Diprotodon, the largest marsupial ever to have lived. The Centre also features an Aboriginal Keeping Place and an ArtSpace with regularly changing art exhibitions.
