Located in the heart of Alice Springs, the Araluen Arts Centre is a premier destination for visual and performing arts in Central Australia. Established in 1984, it houses a significant collection of over 1,100 artworks, focusing on Central Australian and contemporary Aboriginal art. The centre features four galleries, including the Albert Namatjira Gallery, and hosts the annual Desert Mob exhibition each September. Its theatre presents a diverse program of national, international, and local performances. Situated within the 9-hectare Araluen Cultural Precinct, the centre is open daily from 10 am to 4 pm during the tourist season (1 March - 31 October).
