Sharon Davis is a professional Melbourne based piano player. She performs Solo (piano with or without vocals), with her trio and in a number of bands. In her 30 year live career, Sharon has played with and supported some of the finest local &international musicians. Most notably Australian Idol star Emily Williams, ARIA Award-winning platinum selling singer Kate Ceberano and Grammy Award-winning American trumpeter, composer, producer Maurice “Mobetta” Brown. Sharon maintains a busy solo and band gig diary in and around Melbourne. Venues include Memo Hall, The Spiegeltent, The Paris Cat, National Gallery of Victoria, and Melbourne Town Hall. She works as a soloist, doing completely live piano and vocal gigs. The Sharon Davis Trio includes local Jazz musicians on guitar and percussion/drums. She supplies solid rhythm section keyboards and backing vocals to a wide range of other bands, including the Elvis Big Band, The Aretha Project, and Anything Goes - the songs of Cole Porter.
