Mojo Jacket

Ben Fumi, performing as Mojo Jacket, is a one man band like nothing you've heard. 30 years experience as a frontman/vocalist/guitarist, combined with a decade on his unique Farmer Footdrum drum kit, will have vocals, lead, rhythm, even bass lines, and a full live drum kit filling your ears with delicious bluesy rock, indie, reggae, soul, country, folk, and even some flamenco and gypsy jazz inspired tunes. Huge reportoire of covers classic and modern, plus some great originals mixed in. Ben has opened for and toured with some big acts over the years, up to and including The Animals, Alex Lloyd, The Stranglers, and Ringo Starr from the beatles. He has played everything from backyards to arenas, pubs and functions, to weddings and even the odd byron bay beachside proposal, dolphins included. When not playing organised gigs, you can find him with a circle of happy families and punters dancing around him, as he lights up the streets all around Australia, NZ and Japan
