Through many difficulties I've had to overcome in my quests for excellence, I distill the essence of teamwork and resilience into compelling narratives which will allow companies and individuals to push further and work together to achieve 'the impossible'. I distill the importance of marginal gains and the importance of setting good foundations before taking the next big leap. I often get asked if it's more physical or mental. The answer is that it's both. You can't have one without the other and it's important to arm yourself with the tools to cope with all adversity and have the specific skills to adapt when challenges arise. Although I have done my record solo, there has always been a team of people who I've relied on to achieve my dreams. Although the dream was mine it was important to give my team and crew their own autonomy and work closely on their own dreams and aspirations within the challenge without jeopardising the overall goal in setting new benchmarks for endurance.
