As part of Professor Steve Peters’ team at Chimp Management, I support individuals and organisations to understand how their minds work—so they can improve emotional well-being, build resilience, and perform at their best. Professor Peters is a renowned psychiatrist and the author of The Chimp Paradox, the UK’s best-selling self-development book. He developed the Chimp Model—a pioneering framework based on neuroscience that helps people understand and manage their emotional responses. It underpins all the work we do at Chimp Management and is trusted by Olympic athletes, leaders, educators, and healthcare professionals. My background is in sport psychology, and over the past decade I’ve delivered mentoring and consultancy across a wide range of sectors—from elite sport and senior leadership to NHS trusts and emergency services. That experience has deepened my belief in the importance of psychological understanding in achieving sustainable performance and well-being. I’m particularly passionate about helping people in high-pressure roles develop the emotional skills to lead with clarity, confidence, and compassion. Whether I’m working with an athlete, clinician, or CEO, my aim is to make the science of the mind practical, accessible, and genuinely helpful.
