Jennalea is a Clinical Nutritionist, helping women prepare their bodies for pregnancy, optimise their health during pregnancy and empowering mothers to prioritise themselves in their postpartums. Jennalea engages with her audience as if in a friendly conversation. Her authentic country-girl persona brings lightness to what could be a science-heavy subject, making it digestible for the crowd. Jennalea works in a virtual clinic empowering her clients with nutrition and lifestyle medicine. Working 1:1 with tailored health programs, running wellness retreats and working face to face, teaching Yoga in Melbourne's inner north for the past 11 years. Jennalea believes that she does what she does because of the power in connection. Sustaining optimal health is not just about the food choices we make, it's so much more. She believes her role is to educate, inform and empower those wanting to achieve sustainable habits for their health, longterm. Within the role of educating, there is myth-busting and calling out "wellness fads", getting the audience back to the facts. There is a lot of misinformation out there and because we all eat - we all have an opinion on food! Ultimately it's about supporting people to tune in to their bodies wisdom, their intuition and advocating for themselves and their health care. And at the same time, helping them navigate what is actually going to be beneficial to believe, try and incorporate into their routine. Jennalea is a mother of two and knows firsthand the sacrifices women make when they join the Motherhood. She wants all mothers to know that whilst you do make these sacrifices, your health should never have to suffer. Creating healthy children begins with a healthy mother. This is why she hosts such events as Postpartum Parties that include nutrition education, yoga, breathwork, connection and time to unwind. Jennalea graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Health Science, majoring in Nutrition. She has worked in clinical practice ever since and attracts all different cases from PCOS, Endometriosis, chronic gut issues, preconception care, pregnancy, weight loss, postpartum support, Thyroiditis, menstrual health concerns and perimenopause support. Whilst her main audience is women in their reproductive season, she does work with men who are eager to optimise their health as well. Jennalea has been a keynote speaker for R U Okay Day, addressing the gut-brain connection and how gut health impacts our mental and mood health. This is a topic that she believes needs to reach a wide audience as it could have a large impact on many individuals' well-beings. Jennalea has appeared with various companies including lululemon, Nike, Jockey, Aware Super, Village Roadshow, Baby Bunting, Ovira, Qiara, Sodii, LittleOak, The Memo, Channel 9 and The Herald Sun.
