As a mentor and consultant at Chimp Management, I work as part of Professor Steve Peters’ team — supporting individuals and organisations to understand how their minds work so they can strengthen well-being, build emotional resilience, and perform at their best. Professor Peters is a renowned psychiatrist and the author of The Chimp Paradox, the UK’s best-selling self-development book. He developed the Chimp Model — a groundbreaking framework based on neuroscience that helps people understand and manage their emotional responses. It’s a powerful and practical approach used by Olympic athletes, leaders, and teams across a wide range of sectors, and it sits at the core of everything we do at Chimp Management. Before joining the team, I spent over 17 years in senior leadership roles within education. That experience shaped my belief in the power of psychological safety, self-awareness, and calm, compassionate leadership — especially in high-pressure environments. Today, I deliver workshops and mentoring across a wide range of sectors. I particularly enjoy working with leaders and teams to manage stress, improve communication, and create environments where people feel safe, valued, and able to grow. What drives me most is curiosity and a genuine desire to help. I try to bring calm, clarity, and practical support to every conversation — helping people understand their minds and take confident steps forward.
