It seems this dodgy company has tried to reset the past by deleting all the past feedback about this awful place. 9 Years later I am still traumatised by working at this company. Once was owned and operated locally became Chinese owned and operated out of Brendale - They started importing workers who work at a cheaper rate and decreasing hours for Australian workers - you see the flowers at Woolworths, Coles and Aldi beaming out at cheap prices. You are buying into a toxic and bullying work environment that literally gave me scars. I had to work as 'one of the boys' on occasion and I spilt chemical onto my face whilst lifting out heavy bunches of imported (once local) flowers to the process workers who literally had shoved me, called me racist names and even slashed my car tires ( I could not afford to replace them, so I had to sell my precious Honda Civic 88). They did not have incident reporting or proper WHS procedures - simply push and shove all of us. I was literally shoved in my job on a regular basis by those who were envious of my fast-processing abilities. I still have a massive scar between my eyes which haunts me and I curse the company for treating me the way they did. If you have any sense about you, buy from a Florist and reject the cheap import shit from the supermarkets. Fellow Aussies - put your money where your mouth is. I have had no recompense or apologies for my injuries that incur a lifetime of mental and physical disability. Instead I was called a bully for saying that Gerberas are retarded (which we all thought, try bunching those things within a minute).. I am always sickened when I see the bunches of slavery at the supermarket. Why am I writing this review? Because I just broke down again opening a container on my property, being reminded of working on my 30th birthday in the middle of summer unloading a container full of glass jars with NO ASSISTANCE and sorting them into pallets in the full sun. A manager said he will get 'the boys' to help me - they never arrived.
