Paten Park Native Nursery

Nestled in The Gap, Paten Park Native Nursery is a not-for-profit, community-run nursery dedicated to preserving and restoring the ecological values of south-east Queensland habitats. Specializing in over 400 indigenous plant species—including ground covers, ferns, grasses, shrubs, and trees—this nursery offers a diverse selection for both large-scale revegetation projects and home gardens. Operating Tuesday through Sunday, it provides a tranquil setting where knowledgeable volunteers share their expertise, fostering community appreciation for native plants. Additionally, the nursery hosts workshops and educational programs, promoting sustainable gardening practices and environmental stewardship.
