Constructed in 1879, the homestead is a rare example of drop-log architecture using local pine, reflecting the resilience of early settlers in the Mallee region. The site includes the main homestead, outbuildings, and remnants of a quarry that operated from 1961 to the mid-1980s. Managed by local volunteers, the homestead offers self-guided tours and welcomes clubs and coaches for morning tea and guided visits.
