As the home of The Diggers Club, Australia's leading gardening organization, it is dedicated to preserving heirloom seeds and traditional gardening practices. The gardens showcase vibrant perennial and annual borders, along with well-maintained kitchen and vegetable parterre gardens, offering inspiration for both cooks and gardeners. Visitors can explore the Garden Shop and Nursery, where knowledgeable staff provide expert gardening advice. The shop features the full range of Digger’s heirloom seeds and plants, as well as garden tools and books to meet all gardening needs. The Garden and Digger’s Garden Shop are open daily from 10:00 AM. The café, located within the historic Heronswood House, reopened in September 2024, offering a delightful dining experience. All profits from The Diggers Club support the important work of The Diggers Foundation.
