Gordon Foreshore Reserve Campground, located at 4775 Channel Hwy, Gordon TAS 7150, offers a serene camping experience approximately 65 kilometers south of Hobart. The campground features grassy areas suitable for tents and campervans, with nearby beach access ideal for fishing and exploration. Amenities include flushing toilets, a water tank (note: water must be boiled before drinking), picnic tables, and fixed BBQs. Pets are permitted if kept on a lead and under control at all times. Camping fees are $5 per person per night, with a maximum stay of four nights. Generators are not permitted, and an honesty box is provided for contributions towards campsite upkeep. The area is accessible via an asphalt-sealed road, with grass parking areas available. Mobile phone coverage is available depending on your carrier, and internet access is possible using your mobile phone's data plan. The campground is suitable for various camping styles, including tents, campervans, motorhomes, caravans, camper trailers, and rooftop tents. Activities such as bushwalking, saltwater fishing, mountain biking, kayaking, boating, birdwatching, and using the boat ramp are available.
