Riverbend Playground and Park

Riverbend Park, located at 81 Lindsay Street in Invermay, Tasmania, is an all-abilities recreational area that has transformed a former industrial site into a vibrant community space. The park is divided into four distinct zones: the River Play area, Gorge Play area, Wild Core area, and Urban Plaza. Each zone offers a variety of play equipment and experiences, including swings, diggers, sand pits, a wheelchair-accessible carousel, a water play area, musical instruments, outdoor table tennis, see-saws, and a full-size sports court. Among its standout features are the Sky Walk and the 'confluence net,' two of the largest play structures in Australia. Additional amenities include barbecue facilities, public toilets, a giant mural, and a fenced toddler play area. The park is open 24 hours a day, providing a welcoming environment for visitors of all ages.
