The Augusta Mine, located at 21 McNicols Lane in Costerfield, Victoria, is an active underground operation specializing in gold and antimony extraction. Since its development in 2006, the mine has utilized long-hole stoping with cemented rock fill to access steeply dipping lodes. Ore is transported via a primary spiral ramp to the Brunswick Processing Plant, where it's processed to produce gold-antimony flotation concentrate. In 2024, the mine produced 43,346 ounces of gold and 1,282 tonnes of antimony, contributing to the region's rich mining heritage.
