Warrumbungle Meats

Warrumbungle Meats, located at 5991 Warrumbungles Way in Binnaway, NSW, is a meat processing facility specializing in the slaughter and processing of beef, lamb, and goat. The plant is licensed to process up to 30,000 tonnes of chilled and frozen meat annually, with a daily capacity of 500 small stock and 120 cattle. The facility employs approximately 20 skilled local workers and contract Halal slaughtermen. It is situated on a 45.75-hectare property, approximately 16 km from Coonabarabran and 19 km from Binnaway. The plant holds water access licenses from the adjacent Castlereagh River and a bore. In 2021, Naparoo Australian Whites began processing its lambs at this facility, enhancing its role in the local meat supply chain.
