Theresa Creek Dam, located 22 km southwest of Clermont, offers a serene retreat for campers and anglers alike. Established in 1983, this 300-hectare oasis features unpowered camping sites at $20 per night for two adults, with children under 18 staying free. The area boasts two boat ramps, six camping shelters, BBQ facilities, free showers and toilets, a playground, shaded picnic tables, and a food kiosk. Fishing enthusiasts can target redclaw crayfish, barramundi, golden perch, eel-tailed catfish, sleepy cod, silver perch, and bony bream. Fishing permits are required, except for redclaw, which has a possession limit of 40 with no size limit. Please note, there is limited phone signal in the area.
