Raven Cottage

Nestled in the serene Vivonne Bay on Kangaroo Island's southern coast, Raven Cottage offers a romantic and peaceful retreat. This chalet-style timber cottage, set amidst low melaleuca scrub and dense mallee woodland, provides a cozy atmosphere for up to four guests. The back deck is ideal for bird-watching or feeding resident possums and wallabies while enjoying a BBQ. Just a short walk away, Vivonne Bay beach, acclaimed as Australia's best, invites activities like fishing, surfing, or leisurely strolls. The Harriet River, 100 meters from the cottage, teems with black bream and marron, with kayaks and canoes available for hire. Centrally located, Raven Cottage is close to major attractions such as Seal Bay, Kelly Hill Caves, Flinders Chase National Park, Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch, and the Little Sahara. A general store within walking distance offers fuel, meals, and supplies. Please note, the cottage is not suitable for children under seven due to steep stairs to the mezzanine loft and elevated decks with spaced guard rails.
