Orange Sky - Holy Cross Tuckerbox

Holy Cross Tuckerbox, located at Holy Cross Anglican Church in Hackett, ACT, is a volunteer-run food outlet dedicated to assisting individuals facing budget constraints. Every Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm, the church's annexe, breezeway, and church are transformed into a small grocery and afternoon tea centre. They offer a variety of groceries, bread, fresh fruits, and vegetables for a nominal handling fee. Membership is available for an annual fee of $2 per family. The community includes pensioners, people living with disabilities, and working families on tight budgets. All are welcome to drop in for afternoon tea at Maggie's Cafe, a chat, to browse, and to shop.
