Meals on Wheels Fraser Community Inc, established in 1968, has been serving the Fraser Coast community since 1968, delivering approximately 10,000 meals monthly. Their freshly prepared main meal includes soup, a main course with three vegetables, dessert or fruit, and fruit juice. They cater to various dietary requirements and offer alternative meal combinations. Meals are supplied in hygienic containers and can be delivered hot (Hervey Bay only), chilled, or frozen to suit individual needs. Their dedicated volunteers provide not only nutritious meals but also valuable social interaction, helping clients maintain independence and stay connected within the community.
