Established in 2001, Marthakal Homelands Health Service (MHHS) delivers primary health care to the residents of the Marthakal Homelands, covering approximately 15,000 square kilometres in remote East Arnhem Land. Operating as a mobile service, MHHS conducts clinics across 29 homelands, providing essential health services to a population of around 400 people. The dedicated team travels by small planes and four-wheel-drive vehicles to reach these communities, ensuring comprehensive health care is accessible to all residents.
