Lake King Tavern Caravan Park

Lake King Tavern Motel and Caravan Park, established in 1987, is a charming rammed earth building featuring cathedral ceilings and a straw ceiling with impressive Oregon trusses. The tavern offers a diverse selection of beers and wines, complemented by a full menu of Australian pub cuisine with daily specials. In winter, guests can enjoy a large open fire and relax on leather couches. The adjacent motel provides 17 modern, light-filled units with large clean bathrooms, each equipped with a TV, fridge, toaster, and tea/coffee making facilities. The caravan park offers 15 powered sites and a powered tent camping area, with on-site vans available upon prior arrangement. Guest facilities include disabled access, kitchen amenities, laundry facilities, and a BBQ area. The park is pet-friendly for guests using their own RV or caravan, with pets required to be kept on a leash at all times. Lake King is ideally situated for a stopover between Perth and Esperance, and only an hour from Wave Rock. The area offers attractions such as the Rabbit Proof Fence, Peak Charles and Frank Hann National Parks, and scenic drives featuring granite outcrops, gnamma holes, and lakes. The tavern and motel are owned and managed by a local farming family that has been in the area since 1929, providing a friendly atmosphere, comfortable accommodations, and excellent food.
