The Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail is an 88-kilometer journey through Queensland's picturesque South Burnett region, connecting Kilkivan and Kingaroy. This trail offers two distinct sections: - **Kilkivan to Murgon (45.5 km):** An unsealed path ideal for bushwalkers, mountain bikers, and horse riders, featuring creek crossings and diverse landscapes. - **Murgon to Kingaroy (43.5 km):** A sealed path suitable for walkers and cyclists, passing through charming towns like Wondai and Tingoora, with opportunities to explore local art galleries and enjoy regional cuisine. Along the trail, amenities such as rest stops, public toilets, and shelters are available. Dogs on leashes are welcome.
