The Freds Pass Rural Show, held annually at the Freds Pass Reserve in the Litchfield Municipality, is a vibrant community event that celebrates the region's agricultural, social, and cultural heritage. Set amidst the lush parklands around Lakeview Hall, the show offers a spacious yet intimate atmosphere, with a natural amphitheater enhancing Main Stage performances. A highlight is the Paddock to Plate pavilion, where chefs and food enthusiasts engage visitors with local food preparation and tastings. Additional attractions include equestrian events, livestock judging, art and craft competitions, a grand parade, woodchopping exhibitions, and live music, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night. The event is family-friendly, featuring an animal nursery, children's entertainment, and a variety of food and commercial stalls. The 2025 show is scheduled for 24–25 May.
