Bay of Shoals Wines, located just five minutes from Kingscote, offers a memorable wine tasting experience overlooking the Bay of Shoals and historic Reeves Point. Established in 1993 by Dr. John Willoughby, the winery produces award-winning wines from estate-grown grapes, including varieties like Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Savagnin, Rosé, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Island Blend, Tawny, and Vintage Fortified. The cellar door, designed by artist Bernie Walsh, is open daily from 11 am to 5 pm, offering tastings, local produce hampers, and wine-by-the-glass sales. Visitors can also enjoy picnic-style lunches and glamping accommodations on the property.
