Serving the boating community and residents of Cottage Point and surrounding areas for over 50 years, Marine Rescue Cottage Point operates two rescue vessels capable of search and rescue operations up to 30 nautical miles offshore. These vessels assist all types of boating craft in distress, provide first aid, collaborate with NSW Police on coordinated search and rescue missions, and offer water-safety coverage for aquatic events. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, Marine Rescue Cottage Point relies on public donations and fundraising efforts to maintain its operations.
