Fern Tree Gully, located near Rylstone in central-western New South Wales, offers a captivating bushwalking experience through a lush, fern-filled gully. The 2.5 km loop track features a moderate difficulty level, with some steep sections and stairs. As you descend into the gully, you'll encounter diverse flora, including rock orchids, delicate ferns, and towering tree ferns. The area is also home to various bird species, such as lyrebirds and glossy black cockatoos. Managed by dedicated volunteers, the reserve provides a unique and immersive nature experience.
