Enoggera Reservoir, established in 1866, is Brisbane's oldest reservoir and the first major dam in Queensland. Located in The Gap, it spans a 33 km² catchment area and holds 4,262 million litres of water at full capacity. While no longer used for regular water supply, it serves as a vital backup during droughts. The reservoir offers a serene setting for various recreational activities, including swimming, kayaking, fishing, and walking trails. Managed by Seqwater, it remains a cherished destination for both locals and visitors.
