Located at 119-121 Godfrey Street in Boort, Victoria, the Boort Resource & Information Centre (BRIC) serves as a vital community hub, offering a diverse range of services to meet local needs. These include the Boort Community Gymnasium, Goldfields Library Agency, public internet access, Centrelink access point, VicRoads, and V/Line agency services. The Goldfields Library Agency, a key component of BRIC, provides a regularly updated collection of fiction and non-fiction books, children's picture books, junior fiction, young adult fiction, magazines, audiobooks, and DVDs. Items can be borrowed or reserved online and collected from BRIC. A Goldfields Library staff member attends BRIC weekly on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Membership is free and can be obtained by visiting BRIC or signing up online through the Goldfields Library website. Additionally, BRIC hosts Storytime Sessions every second Thursday during school terms at 10:30 am, featuring stories, songs, and rhymes to nurture children's listening, language, and learning skills. Operating Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a lunch break from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm, BRIC is a cornerstone of the Boort community, providing essential resources and services to residents and visitors alike.
