With over 50 years of continuous operation, Beachlea Boat Hire offers a safe and enjoyable beach experience for families and friends. Located on the beach at Indented Head, opposite the general store between Portarlington and St Leonards, the facility provides access to some of Port Phillip’s best fishing spots, where visitors can catch species like Snapper, Flathead, Gummy Shark, Squid, Whiting, and Garfish. Activities include fishing, boat hire, glass-bottom canoe hire, snorkeling, and stand-up paddleboarding. The beach features crystal-clear waters protected by the wreck of the Ozone, easily accessible for snorkeling or glass-bottom canoeing. No boat license is required for boat hire, and all safety gear is provided. The facility operates seven days a week from dawn to dusk, closed only on Christmas Day.
