Huon Art, located at 41 Mary Street in Cygnet, Tasmania, is the largest art gallery in the Huon Valley, showcasing over 100 paintings by Tasmanian artists from the Huon Valley, The Channel, Hobart, Launceston, and the Far North Coast. The gallery features a diverse range of artworks, including landscape paintings in oils, acrylics, pastels, and watercolours, as well as pieces depicting Tasmanian birds, quirky animals, floral themes, and urban spaces. Most pastels and watercolours are beautifully framed under art glass to prevent fading and reduce reflections. Open Thursday and Friday from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Huon Art offers a welcoming environment for art enthusiasts to explore and purchase original works. The gallery also participates in the COLLECT Art Purchase Scheme, assisting Australian residents in acquiring artworks through interest-free loans.
