Barkly Regional Arts serves as the cultural hub of the Barkly region, encompassing approximately 322,717 square kilometers in Australia's Northern Territory. Located in Tennant Creek, the organization collaborates with remote Indigenous communities to foster access, development, and recognition of arts across the area. Through its visual arts and music studios, Barkly Regional Arts produces art, music, and events that tell the stories of the Barkly. The Artists of the Barkly collective represents over fifty Aboriginal artists from five remote communities, showcasing a diverse range of artistic styles and themes. Visitors can view or purchase art and craft products, interact with artists at work in the studio, and learn more about the development of artists and art practices in this uniquely beautiful region.
