Art as Mania, established in August 2017 by owner Laura Window, is a vibrant art and craft gallery in Deloraine, Tasmania. Spanning four floors, it proudly supports over 90 local artists and craftspeople, offering a diverse collection of quality, locally made art and craft under one roof. Visitors can explore exquisite rural watercolours, contemporary wall art, hand-sewn textiles, fine woodcraft, jewellery, metal sculptures, and ceramic pottery. The gallery also features a range of furniture, including contemporary styles, rustic handmade pieces, re-purposed, old, new, and estate furniture, with an ever-changing variety by many Tasmanian makers. Additionally, Willis & Friends stocks ladies' fashions on the main floor and menswear upstairs, featuring brands like Merinomink, Betty Basic, Ringers Western, and Ridgeline. Art as Mania offers workshops covering topics such as candle making, mosaics, botanical art, felting, and more, providing a friendly environment to learn something new. The gallery is also a venue for the annual Artist in Residence Trail Tasmania. Situated on the main street, it is easily accessible to all, with plenty of free parking close by.
