Nestled in Currumbin Waters, Zipang offers an authentic Japanese dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere. The menu features a variety of tapas-style share plates, including pork gyoza, miso eggplant, and salt and pepper calamari. Main dishes range from teriyaki chicken and katsu chicken curry to grilled salmon and tofu and bean curry. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available. For those on the go, freshly made sushi, salads, and bento boxes are offered. Lunch is served Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, and dinner Thursday to Saturday from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm. A pop-up ramen bar operates each Wednesday from 5:00 pm. The venue is BYO wine only, with a $6 corkage fee per person. Please note, Zipang is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
