Zanci Homestead Site

Explore the Zanci Homestead site in Mungo National Park, a testament to the area's pastoral heritage. The site features a range of buildings, some refurbished and others in ruins, including the original homestead constructed from iron and flattened kerosene tins. Notable structures include the 'dugout' cool room, shearing shed, spinifex-thatched stables, and the Zanci Woolshed, relocated from the Mungo woolshed. Visitors can also view a brick fireplace, chimney, and the historic 'dunny out the back.' Access is via the Mungo Self-guided Drive tour or the Zanci Pastoral Loop.
