Yurunga Homestead, built in 1909 by Mr. A.G. Cust, is a heritage-listed Edwardian-style residence in Rainbow, Victoria. Constructed from local limestone, it showcases period furniture, antiques, and historical displays. A unique underground living room, designed to beat the summer heat, was often used by the nearby hospital to provide respite from the heat. The gardens and coach house tell their own story, and the site where the croquet green once stood reminds us of the social gatherings Yurunga was renowned for. A mural by local artist Belinda Eckermann depicts the homestead's history. Open Sundays from 2:00 to 4:00 pm or by appointment.
