Yornaning Dam, established in 1896, was originally constructed to supply water for steam locomotives and the town of Narrogin. In 1993, the Shire of Cuballing revitalized the area, transforming it into a recreational haven. Visitors can enjoy a 1.5 km nature walk encircling the dam, ideal for bird watching and appreciating wildflowers from late winter to spring. Amenities include picnic tables, barbecues, a children's playground, and modern toilet facilities. Self-sufficient camping is permitted for stays up to three nights, offering a serene escape in a picturesque setting.
