Yileena Park

Nestled in the picturesque Yarra Valley, Yileena Park is a family-owned boutique winery and vineyard established in 1998. The vineyard spans 12.5 acres, cultivating Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot on a north-facing slope at the base of the Christmas Hills. The grey loam soil over a rock-studded clay base provides an ideal environment for premium wine grapes. The vineyard is pruned to produce between 1-2 tonnes of fruit per acre, allowing the vines to fully ripen the fruit. The cellar door, opened in 2007, offers a warm and inviting tasting room adorned with Tasmanian Myrtle and an open fireplace. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings, complemented by a curated selection of smoked cheeses, meats, and other specialty products. The expansive deck provides stunning views over the vineyard and the Yarra Valley, making it an ideal spot to relax and savor the wines. Yileena Park is open from 11 am to 5 pm, Thursday to Sunday, and is closed on public holidays. The winery is pet-friendly; however, it's advisable to inquire in advance.
