Established in 1882, Yeronga Memorial Park is one of Brisbane's oldest parks, spanning 22.46 hectares. It features Honour Avenue, a World War I memorial avenue lined with 96 weeping figs and flame trees, each commemorating a fallen soldier from the Stephens Shire. The park also includes memorial gates, a pavilion, and a shale stone wall along Ipswich Road. Recreational facilities encompass the Yeronga Park Memorial Swimming Pool, tennis courts, croquet lawns, and cricket fields. The park is home to various clubs, including the Yeronga Tennis Club and the Queensland Blind Cricket Association. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 2 December 2005.
