Nestled in the picturesque Upper Kangaroo Valley, Yarrawa Estate offers an intimate wine tasting experience in a family-run setting. Established in 1998 by Susan and Mark Foster, the vineyard spans 2.5 hectares, cultivating varieties such as Verdelho, Chardonnay, Chambourcin, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Visitors can enjoy a flight of six selected wines for $15 per person, complemented by cheese platters featuring Sue's homemade delicacies. The cellar door operates on weekends: Saturday from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm and Sunday from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm, with bookings essential. The estate also offers a range of homemade products, including jams, pickles, and nuts, all made from produce grown on-site. The journey to the estate is an adventure in itself, as you follow wooden signs upwards from Kangaroo Valley village to the estate, where you'll be welcomed like family.
