Yarrabah jetty

The Yarrabah Jetty, located at Gribble Point, is a 165-meter-long structure that enhances the community's access to the Coral Sea. Officially commissioned in September 2022, it features a pontoon and incorporates unique artworks by local Gunggandji artists, reflecting the area's rich cultural heritage. The jetty serves as a vital link for residents, facilitating quicker travel to Cairns and supporting local tourism and cultural events. Its design includes interpretive signage developed in consultation with local elders, providing insights into the community's history and traditions.
