Nestled along the Murrumbidgee River in Yanga National Park, Yanga Woolshed was constructed in the late 1800s as the Riverina's largest and most modern woolshed. It accommodated 3,000 sheep and employed up to 40 shearers simultaneously. Today, visitors can explore its expansive runs and pens on a self-guided tour, immersing themselves in authentic 19th-century pastoral life. An interpretive display offers insights into the area's history as Yanga Sheep Station. The viewing platform, once the site of the old wharf, provides picturesque river vistas. The woolshed is also available for weddings and private functions.
