The Yackandandah Gorge Scenic Walk follows a historic gorge, originally constructed in 1859 as a tail race for gold mining. The trail meanders alongside Yackandandah Creek, featuring gentle cascades and shaded areas. For a shorter experience, access is available from Bells Flat Road, with a signposted trail leading to the gorge in approximately five minutes. The full trail extends about 7 kilometers, with some steep sections requiring moderate fitness. Gold panning is no longer permitted in Yackandandah Creek; however, maps for permitted areas are available at the local Visitor Information Centre.
