Wynyard Cemetery

Wynyard Cemetery, located on Gibbons Street in Wynyard, Tasmania, serves as one of the region's two active cemeteries. To accommodate the growing need for burial space, a new lawn section has been established across Gibbons Road, ensuring all areas maintain a unified identity and preventing duplicate memorials. The cemetery is managed by the Waratah-Wynyard Council, which also oversees other local cemeteries, including those in Somerset, Yolla, Mount Hicks, Flowerdale, and Waratah. For burial arrangements, permits are obtained through funeral directors.
