Wooroonooran National Park

Wooroonooran National Park, located between Cairns and Innisfail, Queensland, is a haven for nature enthusiasts. The park encompasses the Bellenden Ker Range, featuring Queensland's highest peaks—Mount Bartle Frere and Mount Bellenden Ker. Visitors can explore diverse landscapes, including the challenging Walshs Pyramid hike, the serene Goldsborough Valley with its canoeing and mountain biking trails, and the picturesque Josephine Falls, which marks the beginning of the trail up Mount Bartle Frere. The Palmerston (Doongan) section is renowned for its lush rainforests, wild rivers, steep gorges, cascading waterfalls, and the Mamu Tropical Skywalk.
