
Woondum National Park, located approximately 20 minutes southeast of Gympie, Queensland, offers a serene retreat into nature. The park features subtropical rainforests, tall eucalypt forests, and cascading boulder-strewn creeks, creating a picturesque environment. Visitors can enjoy activities such as swimming in the Mothar Mountain Rock Pools, picnicking, and bushwalking along trails like the 500-meter Turpentine Circuit and the more challenging 3.2-kilometer Boulder Mountain hiking trail. Amenities include picnic tables, wood-fired barbecues, and toilets. Access is via Noosa Road and Hill Road, with the last 2 kilometers being unsealed. Please note that camping and domestic animals are not permitted in the park.
