Located at LOT 101 Dewrang Ave in Woomera, South Australia, the Woomera Rocket Park is an open-air museum showcasing Australia's aerospace and defense history. The park features restored rockets, missiles, and aircraft, including the Black Arrow rocket, which successfully launched the Prospero satellite into orbit in 1971. Other notable exhibits are the Gloster Meteor Mark 7, a British jet aircraft used during World War II, and the GAF Jindivik, an Australian-designed pilotless target aircraft. Adjacent to the park is the Woomera Heritage Centre, offering historical displays related to the Woomera Range and the former Joint Defence Facility at Nurrungar. The park is open 24 hours a day, providing visitors with a unique glimpse into Australia's contributions to aerospace technology.
