Woodstock State School

Woodstock State School, established in 1890, is a small, caring country school located approximately 40 km west of Townsville, Queensland. With an enrolment of 33 students from Prep to Year 6, the school fosters a supportive and nurturing community. The school motto, "Each day brings a chance to do better," reflects its commitment to continuous improvement. Students participate in a variety of programs, including a Strings program for Years 3 to 6, athletics day, swimming, tennis lessons, and the Adopt-a-Cowboy Program. The school also offers the "Little Maggies" early learning program for children from babies to Pre-Prep, and features the Centenary Plot, an outdoor learning area with native trees and a yarning circle.
