Nestled along the Canning River, Woodloes Homestead is a heritage-listed Victorian-Georgian residence built in 1871 by architect Francis Bird. As the oldest building in Canning, it offers a glimpse into early colonial life. The homestead is open to the public on the first and third Sunday afternoons of each month, except January, from 2 to 5 pm. Managed by the Canning Districts Historical Society, it houses a collection of colonial and post-colonial artifacts, providing insights into the area's rich history.
